For the non-go players, the bamboo joint is that formation of 2 stones facing 2 stones with empty space in between.

This is my first comic with my own art and not based on other people's characters. Doing sketchy black and white is a nice change of pace after all those time-consuming color Bench strips. It took a while to decide how I wanted to do the art for the go board and stones in my go comics... thanks to Wendy, Brendan, and JP for brainstorming.
