July 8 -- Iron Chef: The Bench Battle If memory serves me right, Jeff introduced me to Iron Chef at a recent party to watch the New York Battle. Talk about over the top... this show is wacky fun! So I was inspired to make this tasty Bench strip with a simple, yet complex, flavor. The version here is a smaller sharper gif since the Bench only takes jpgs. This is the first Bench strip I submitted with the www.kofightclub.com URL. I wonder if any Bench readers noticed! Here are a few sites with more Iron Chef info:
As I type this, I'm still waiting for the kofightclub.com domain transfer to complete; I ordered it last night, and it supposedly takes 24 to 48 hours. Meanwhile, I think I've got my new site set up the way I like it. Each day's comic is simply an html file which refers to the comic's image and has whatever additional text etc. I want (like what you are reading right now); the normal Keenspace setup is putting the image itself in the comics directory, but my daily comic pages include this additional rambling text that's different for each day! Many thanks to Nate of Keenspace who is really helpful and responsive. I'm sure he's busy answering questions from dozens of people migrating to Keenspace. |
