There are various old poems and stories about go players being focused on their game and oblivious to what goes on around them. I'm a big fan of classical go art, so the idea for this comic came to me as a natural followup to Wednesday's comic. (Yeah, this is what passes for continuity at KoFC these days.) I've done a few brush and ink comics before; this is the first one scanned as grayscale instead of black & white. It's fun even though I'm still a newbie. For really nifty brushwork, check out Kip Grey's stuff at Comicollage (where we both do comics) and Receptor Fatigue.
Summer nonsense strips started July 11.
