The administration tries to hide disturbing artistic portrayals of war like Guernica and poetry, yet they're surprisingly candid about wanting to turn Baghdad into the next Hiroshima via "shock and awe" bombardment that would target the entire city indiscriminately, and using nukes hasn't been ruled out. ("We had to destroy the village to save it" is one of the great insane quotes from the Vietnam war.) |
